central spot for beach and old town exploration

During my recent stay, I really loved how just a 10-minute walk took me to the beautiful old town with its charming shops and bars, while another short stroll got me to the lively strip filled with nightlife, making it a perfect base for all those weekend strolls I adore.

I loved my stay at Kr Hotels, Albufeira Lounge. The location is fantastic. just a short walk to the old town and new strip, making it easy to explore. My room was spacious, featuring a huge bed that provided restful sleep every night. The air conditioning felt great during the hot days. The pool area was clean and a perfect spot to relax, although I found it a bit too cold on cooler days. I appreciated the staff's friendliness, especially Nina, who went out of her way to make everything perfect for us. However, the breakfast options were somewhat limited with no variety after a few days. I would have liked more choices and maybe some evening drinks at the bar since sometimes it felt unmanned. Some of the bar staff were not very confident with English, which made ordering a bit tricky. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely return if I'm back in Portugal.

The room was spacious and the king-size bed was super comfy, giving us a great night's sleep. It was bright and had a nice balcony for morning coffee. Plus, the bathroom was really big, which was a nice touch. Clean towels and daily room service were big wins for us!

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel staff was genuinely friendly, and Rita in particular went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and assisted with my needs. The location was perfect, just a short walk from both the new and old towns. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options every morning. However, it would have been nice to have a lift since my room was on the top floor.

I loved the cozy bathroom and the convenient parking! The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days. And don't miss the walk to Praia da Oura beach—definitely worth it!
